Laura Strebel passed away in July of this year after her cancer moved to her brain and took her. Her surviving spouse has decided to sell everything as an estate and then move back to Kansas City. So he is going to auction everything, then sell the house and move.
Laura Strebel was self-employed with her engraving business as her favorite business. She was the top free hand engraver of glass and such in Utah for the passed 30 + years. Her work now spans the globe. Thousands of hand drawn custom design engraving patterns will be auctioned.
She was a very talented artist in both water colors and oil paints. She drew several custom evening gowns and dresses patterns. She sewed for many years when she was much younger, and that is why she had a huge supply of sewing accessories and fabric.
Laura was a Real Estate Assoc. Broker and had numerous materials and supplies to be sold.
Laura was a collector of Norman Rockwell, Nagel, JMW Chrzanoska, Jan Henderson, Boris Valiejo, Ty-babies, cats, books, antiques, and fine things. Though she lived a very simple life the few choice things she kept close are very nice. She had a very large collection of comic books, which are very will preserved. Lots of Christmas decorations and lights and a very large collection of old Avon collectables. She owned musical instruments, like her Father's old unknown name 5 string banjo and over a 100 old piano and plays sheet music. Old chests, blown glass, figurines, fine china, silver flatware, old cook books, cameras, wood picture frames, and on and on.
Her husband was and is a master carpenter and all of his tools will be sold during the auction also. He has tons of hand and power tools as he has worked in the trade for over 30 years. There is welders, and supplies, compressors, nailers, grinders, gas torch set, snow blowers, saws, drills and bits, bolt bins, 92 + tray round stand up nail and bolt organizer, chain saws, gold mining equipment, winter wear and more!
